Thank you. I'm not much of a teacher hun lol. My only advice is just read or watch any and all tutorials you find on digital painting and practice and eventually you will find your own personal style of painting.
I just smooth the face and shadow alot after I do the basic crappy face structure and shadow. Then I lighten or a white paint brush with low opacity to do the facial highlights and in some places I use a tiny 1,2 or 3 size white brush with about 80-100 opacity to make the area I want sparkle. You just have to experiment with different styles of painting. Alot of people hate that I make skin so smooth. They say it looks like a fake person or whatever. But some people love it. But, that's basically how I do the smooth skin.
The skin looks way too plastic for my taste. When blending colors, try using a brush that is a bit hard to keep some texture. Even smooth skin has texture (even with make up!).
Hair is too smudged, too blurry. Smudging helps a bit with the flow but it destroys details. Try using a small hard brush to add single hairs (highlights mainly) in the very end.
The flow of the hair is too straigh from the bottom of the big blue ribon. Hair doesn't angle like that, it follows a smooth curve. Just look at the ref.
The blue ribons really don't match with the overall standard: they really lack some polishing.
The armpit part looks weird, too short, mainly because the small portion of the chest showing is too plain: in the original ref. pic, the top of the bosom is showing, giving a hit of the depth and the overall shape. Look at the angle of the ref. : it's a bit angled to the right, your's is totally vertical.
The elbow doesn't feel right either to me. There shoud be a bit more bone at the tip, and the crease inside should be a bit heavier. Also the tatoo doesn't follow the curve of the skin, following the angle of the arm.
Thanks for your critique and "opinion". I have no problem with constructive criticism at all! But, I've had a terrible day at work today so now I must strictly negatively critize one of yours . Sorry, but me personally when I critique I pick out some of the negative and positive parts in the picture to help show the artist what they need to work on and what they are doing great at instead of only doing the negatives. But, that's just me.

I love this. The tones in the hair are stunning, and the eyes are absolutely beautiful. Such delicate skin, too.
The only thing I can suggest (though I'm not qualified - this is so much better than anything I could do!) is that the piercings look a little bit pasted on? Perhaps add a little more shadow? That's the only thing though. Truly stunning work.
I listened to the song, I know what it's like when something's stuck in your head and it inspires/translates into your art. Your talent is insane - you should get tested lol I love this - the texture, the color, the use of brushes, arrangement. You took something that exists in real life - like the reference photo - and interpreted into a hyper-realistic, ass-kicking visual.
Aw thank you but the title is actually from the song "Stay" by Safteysuit. You've probably heard it. It's been on the rock station here and I just fell in love with it. Listened to it over and over and OVER while I made this lol. there's a link to it in the artist comments if you want to hear it . Oh and FEEL FREE to buy it lol I put it up for print earlier today and I could def use the money LOL. Economy is kicking my butt! lol
